WHAT TO EXPECT

Be surprised to hear the contrasting crazy and noisy Moroccan traffic to the silence and peacefulness of Riads. It’s like entering to a totally different world. As soon as stepping into a Riad you hear nothing but silence. Enjoy your stay by eating a delicious couscous and tajin seasoned with many spices and to top up, finishing with a Moroccan tea with some traditional biscuits.

Best time to visit

The best time to visit Morocco are from March to May and between September and November. The weather is more desirable and hotels are more affordable. Try to avoid visiting the country during the hot summer – cheap flights here though – and if you go, get a Riad with swimming pool. Be mindful of religious holidays such as Ramadan and Christmas, as well as national holidays that follow the lunar calendar, which can affect everything from public transportation to attractions.

Health: Sanitary conditions in Morocco are correct. In the main cities you can find private clinics where you will have good professionals trained frequently in Spain or France. However, in smaller cities and in rural areas health facilities are of a much lower level, poorly equipped and with poorly qualified auxiliary personnel. It is advisable to travel with a good health insurance.
